What We Do
Your smile is the first thing people see. It instantly portrays your personality, self confidence, joy and vitality. Does your smile say it all, or are you embarrassed to smile? Nearly half of adults surveyed say they want a beautiful smile. Isn't it your time right now to have the beautiful smile you deserve? Not years. Not months. In as little as two visits. We use the most advanced techniques in dentistry to give you the smile you deserve, without waiting.
Porcelain Veneers
Veneers correct smiles that have heavy permanent stains, that are crooked, disproportionate, small and structurally damaged. Porcelain veneers are shells of ceramic material that can be bonded to tooth structure. Porcelain veneers are the primary treatment used for the popular extreme makeovers because they offer naturalness, beauty, and strength. Dr. Boudreau can custom design your smile to suit your face. Dr. Boudreau will take into account the shape, color, and size of your teeth to create a smile that looks so natural, no one would doubt they were your natural teeth.
Full Mouth Makeover
Imagine being able to turn the clock back 10 or more years! A full mouth makeover involves restoring the teeth, bite, muscles and self-esteem back to a natural looking and youthful feeling! You do not have to be dissatisfied with the way your smile looks and feels. You do not have to suffer discomfort when chewing or eating hot or cold foods. You do not have to awaken in the morning with sore jaw muscles or live with recurring headaches. Using computerized technology and an artistic eye, a full mouth makeover may be the answer to many of these problems.
Crowns
Crowns are a type of dental restoration which, when cemented into place, fully cup over the portion of a tooth that lies at and above the gum line. Crowns encase the entire visible aspect of a tooth. A dental crown becomes, in effect, the tooth's new outer surface.
Teeth Whitening
People with stained or discolored teeth may just need a whitening procedure in order to restore their smile. Teeth Whitening is a safe and effective way to brighten stained, discolored or dull teeth. Even a stubborn single tooth that is noticeably duller or less white than your other teeth can be individually brightened. Teeth bleaching products, which contain peroxides, actually change your natural tooth color anywhere from five to seven, but even up to twelve, shades brighter. You too can have the white smile you have always dreamed about!
Instant Orthodontics
For many adults, instant orthodontics with cosmetic dentistry has significant advantages, since it can be done in 2 or 3 appointments, rather than with the 1-3 years of traditional orthodontics. The teeth can be straightened and, better than that, the length of the teeth can be restored back to normal, along with the desired color, shape and contour, all corrected and balanced to harmonize with your face and smile. In this day and age many busy adults just don't have the time or disposition for the many office visits required with traditional orthodontics. The option of "instant orthodontics" achieved with cosmetic dentistry certainly is an incredible treatment to consider for the best overall results!
Bridges
A Bridge is a custom device anchored to neighboring teeth that replaces one or more missing teeth. When a lost tooth is replaced with bridgework, the teeth on either side of the missing one are prepared as crowns to serve as abutments to hold the prosthetic (replacement) tooth in place. Crowns and bridges are most commonly prepared from high quality materials such as semiprecious or precious metals, porcelain, or a fused combination of the two. Aesthetics, function, and tissue compatibility are considered when selecting the material most suitable for you.
Non-Metal Fillings
Composites, if placed with exacting technique (rubber dam isolation and modern bonding agents), restore the tooth to its original strength in the most conservative fashion, and better than ever before. The composites are a very hard "plastic" that bonds (micromechanically fuse) to the tooth to hold the tooth together. Amalgams have multiple disadvantages. Amalgam is a metal which expands and contracts with hot, cold and biting. Over time, with every meal the teeth are being weakened. Depending on the size of the filling, the tooth becomes susceptible to fracturing. Amalgam also contains mercury which is a very toxic element. The literature is very unclear as to the amount of mercury that is released from amalgams and the long-term effects on the entire body.
Smile Design
A Smile Design is truly a work of art. The term Smile Design applies to the enhancement of a smile using a combination of methods. A client's eyes, lip line, coloring, gum tissue contouring, and face, are all considered when a new smile is designed for you. Our goal is to redesign your smile so that it fits you, is beautiful, strong, and natural looking. A smile that will make you smile for years to come!
Bonding
The application of tooth colored filling material (composite) to the teeth has been a dental technique for many years. Recent advances have increased the strength, durability, and longevity of these restorations. Bonding material can be molded and shaped to achieve outstanding results including tooth lightening, closing spaces between teeth, making teeth appear straighter, and repairing chips and cracks. When polished it gives the appearance of natural tooth structure.
Diagnodent
We also utilize a new state-of-the-art tool known as a diagnodent. Diagnodent uses a laser to determine the exact amount and depth of bacteria in the tooth structure, allowing us to be as conservative as possible when planning restorative needs.
Silient Nite
Snoring research has shown that custom fabricated dental devices worn at night that move the lower jaw into a forward position, increase the three dimensional space in the airway tube which reduces air velocity and soft tissue vibration. By increasing the volumetric capacity of the airway and preventing soft tissue vibrations, snoring is eliminated. The Silent Nite device positions the lower jaw into a forward position by means of special connectors that are attached to transparent flexible upper & lower trays. The trays are thermoformed using heat and pressure to a model of your mouth which provides a comfortable fit.
Invisalign
Invisalign is a series of removable, clear aligners that both orthodontists and dentists use to promote an invisible way of straightening teeth without using traditional braces.
Botox & Dermal Fillers
Botox & Dermal Fillers are among the most popular and commonly requested cosmetic procedures. Compared to more invasive and physically taxing plastic surgeries such as facelifts, facial fillers provide instant results for less money and less risk. There is virtually no recovery period and the results are temporary that last between four and six months.
Botox (a purified protein) is commonly used for the smoothing of facial wrinkles on the forehead, between the eyes, around the corners of the eyes (crow's feet) and around the lips.
Dermal Fillers volumize creases and folds in the face in areas that have lost fat and collagen as we age. |
